The most important element in Japanese meal is – as you might know – rice. The smell of Japanese sticky white rice cooking makes us so hungry. I can’t help thinking what to cook for the best combination with the rice. Now you may wonder how to cook the sticky half-transparent rice which becomes the best “co-star” on the dinner table.
Simple steps to cook perfect rice

Heat the pan on high heat until the water boils.
Let the water boil for about 1 minute on medium high heat.
Lower the heat to 2nd lowest heat, and cook for 12 minutes.
When the time is up, remove the pan from the cooking stove and leave it for about 5 minutes with a lid on.
